diameter, length and thickness of the intake ducting ensures efficient filling.

Diamond-style frame of thick-walled steel tubing is both strong and durable. * Beefy swingarm bracket contributes to the frame's rigidity and helps achieve an ideal chassis stiffness balance. * Attractive square-tube swingarm with a 60 x 30 mm cross-section further contributes to rigidity.

37 mm telescopic front fork contributes to the Ninja 250R's smooth, stable handling. Firm settings keep pitching motion to a minimum. * Uni-Trak rear suspension provides great road holding ability and bump absorption. The rear shock features 5-way adjustable preload, enabling ride height to be maintained whether riding solo or with a passenger.

The Ninja 250R features 17" wheels like its larger supersport brothers. Wide rims support lowprofile tyres. Rims measure 17xMT2.75 (front) and 17xMT3.50 (rear). * Sporty, low-profile tyres contribute to easy, neutral handling at low speeds.

* Petal disc brakes, just like the Ninja supersport models, offer excellent heat dissipation and contribute to the Ninja 250R's top-class looks. * Large-diameter, 290 mm front disc gripped by a balanced action two-piston
caliper offers excellent braking performance and natural, direct feeling at the lever. * At the rear, a two-piston caliper grips a 220 mm disc.

* With its slightly forward-slanting seat and wide, raised handlebars, the Ninja 250R offers a natural riding position. * Attention to detail when it came to the rider interface mean that even the feel of buttons were carefully designed to be pleasant to the touch.

The Ninja 250R features styling that would not be out of the Ninja supersport models. The striking full-fairing bodywork has a superb fit and finish that looks as good up close as it does from a distance.
